Update!!!

Hey everyone.. been a busy month.. with assignemnt dateline's closing in. Sch is over now.... friday was the last day of school for this term. This week we are having a study vaction week. my exam's on the 13th, 16th 19th and 20th. So its about 9 days till exam. So far my assignments' been ok, averaging about 70+ to 80+% for both psych and indo. Soccer results have been wonderful as well... we just won our 3rd game in a row today. First game was at home and we won 5-4, dreadful 2nd half performance, considering we were leading at 3-1. we were lucky to win that game but a win's a win. Made my first assist that game, a cross from a freekick at halfway.

Next game was away at Hamsley, was my first game playing sweeper... we myself being the only defendfer in the team. it was a makeshift defence but still managed to keep a clean sheet. Won 3-0 eventually. First away win for our team.

Today's game is a classic....... crazy crazy game.... we had only 11 players to start with..and its a cup game.. 10 minutes into the game... their striker is 1 on 1 with our goalie and he went in for a challenge.... I thought our goalie was overeacting but after getting him off the field, we realise he broke his shin and it was confirmed by the ambulance who picked him up later... sad.. considering he was doing us a favour as his not from our team.... oh welll.... so we were down to 10 men.. with 80 mins to go.. bummer

we let in a goal from a cross but we mangaged to equalise within 10 mins.. play was fairly even until about 40th min when their striker was thru on goal with one defender.. unfortunately the striker was too fast and our defender pulled him down.. for a freekick.. and a RED CARD!.... 9men with one more half to go... they scored another one right before half time to make it 2-1.... 9 men v 11 men.... 1 goal down..

i started out at center mid and almost scored in the 20th min.. at half time.. we decided to play 3-3-2 with me at centreback. we had to play the ball to the corners for our strikers to chase. 2nd half started slow and nothing much was happening for both sides. i was felt we were going to lose as i was waiting for the ref to blow the whistle. but now we were controlling the game and had a few chances to even it... a mistake in the clearance of the ball led to our 2nd goal.. their defneder kicked the ball into our striker who stuck a foot out and it boucned into goalllllll

when we scored i was wondering where should i place the penalty... if its even we go direct to penalties... and when i was still thinking about it, our strikers were free and they managed to play the ball and one of them was open to pass the ball into the goalll..... 3-2 !!!!!!!!!!! what a comeback.. it was unbelievable... crazy crazy game..

yup as u can see it was a great game... now its back to reality and study study study.. just 2 weeks more and i would be in melbourne for hols!! take care everyone!!!
