Photos Galore!!!

Hey everyone, it has been a busy weekend for a change.. 2 events back to back... i have no idea why they didnt spilt it up... poor planning i guess..

at school, almost everyone is in holiday mood and theres no labs for me and yeah everyone's looking forward to the holidays for a much needed break and then then 2nd week to rush the assigments ahah.

On friday night, we had college ball.. well i wasnt expecting much and true to my expectations it was nothing much.. as usual i think most of them were drunk even before it started.. makes me wonder why they bother to spend so much time and money dressing up when within half an hour their makeup's all messed up.. Carene did Elaine's hair and makeup as well as her own. i think they started at ard 3pm... took them 4 hours to get ready. heh i got the wing-tip collar shirt together with Clarence. Didnt wan to wear a normal shirt so i thought that would be abit different. As you can see everyone was very well dressed. It was held at Novotel hotel and i must say the food was horrible... i suspect the college chef was cooking in the hotel kitchen.. entre was some pasta which tasted exactly like college food.... and the main was beef steak which was average. Cant expect much from mass production. After the ball, a few of us headed for Onyx Bar which was a nice loungy place near our college.

The next day, to further treat ourselves, we went for lunch at Tiamo where Carene works. It was a fantastic lunch, the ribeye was 100000000 times nicer than the previous night. i think we stayed at the place from 1-4pm. Weather was perfect as well.

At night we had formal dinner at college... i think people were barely out of their hangover and now they were gonna drink again.. and as usual.. dinner was pathetic... look at the crumbed steak... the crust was thicker than the piece of beef... ha oh well again wasnt expecting much so...

Anyway after that we headed for Burswood to watch the Manchester Derby... but we had some problems getting into the casino.. apparently foreigners need to show their passports to get into the casino.... i have no idea why they would even bother to check our age... anyway we did manage to get in to catch the match. but when we wanted to go into the bar upstairs to have a look, the security guard who didnt let us in the first place recognised us and asked us to leave the place.... " your ids can be forged" was his dumb excuse, obviously he doesnt know a thing about Asian countries, blindy follow his superiors orders.. Dumb guy spoilt our mood.. anyway we would be having bbq again next sunday and we decided to go to burswood and bring our passports and slap that bugger's face with it...
